Special Guest Speaker, Professor Marcus Stoodley.

Professor Stoodley is a neurosurgeon and head of neurosciences at Macquarie University. His expertise in vascular neurosurgery includes managing aneurysms and vascular malformations, and he has become an Australian leader in cerebral bypass surgery, especially in the treatment of Moyamoya disease.

He graduated with honours from the University of Queensland Medical School. After completing neurosurgery training in Australia, he undertook further subspecialty training in vascular neurosurgery at Stanford University and the University of Chicago in the United States. He has produced more than 100 publications and delivered over 70 invited lectures at national and international scientific meetings. In 2012, Professor Stoodley was awarded the John Mitchell Crouch Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the premier surgical research award of the RACS.

All funds raised from sale of our Merchandise goes back into supporting Moyamoya Australia in our efforts to raise awareness and support Moyamoya warriors and their families. Thank you for your support.

These homing pigeons love to fly, and for the race will be flying from Innisfail to their home in Cairns.

We have unlimited tickets as we will run multiple ‘cards’ of the pigeons for the race. Please let all of your friends know about the event!
